The Ultra Coaching Program is based around my proven framework to get you to the finish line of your Ultra distance event. I consider myself to be an holistic performance coach, meaning you, the athlete, are at the centre of the training plan. In this program I will guide you through my process, along with other cyclists just like you, to get you physically and mentally prepared for multiday, long distance events. Within the course you'll also have the support of the other participants, all training for similar events.

So, what does the coaching program entail?

The home of the program is here on this website. You will have access to all the digital content, find links to register for the live events and a community area where you can share knowledge, support and get encouragement from the other participants


There will be several live workshops during the first four weeks, and more for the following two months. 


Live online turbo sessions and off the bike classes. These group sessions will help you keep motivated and allow you to learn good technique from the qualified trainers


Digital lessons for you to work through in your own time. The live sessions will also be available to replay at a time that suits you

Weekly Live online Sessions

During the first four weeks of the program there will be the opportunity to join live weekly indoor cycling and off the bike training classes. These give you the opportunity to learn about good technique and the types of sessions to included in your training plan. And what's more fun than training with others!

Week 1. Goal Setting

Getting clear on your goals can really help you map out how you are going to get from where you are now, to where you need to be, both in regards to your physical fitness, practical preparedness as well as your mindset

Week 2. Developing your training plan

Learn how to make the best use of your precious time. Hint: it's not all about spending hours and hours on the bike every day! Using the base plan provided you'll learn the basics on creating a strategy that ensures you will be at your best on the start line of your event, without burning yourself out, mentally or physically, in the process.

Week 3. Creating workouts 

This week is about understanding the details in your training plan, learning about what type sessions develop different aspects of your physiology, adapting the sessions around your lifestyle, strengths and weaknesses. You'll also learn about the importance of off the bike training as well as allowing time for rest and recovery

Week 4: Nutrition

What you eat before, during and after your rides and training sessions can influence the effectiveness of your training. We look at what to eat and when and working out what works for you!

Week 5 and beyond

Q & A Sessions and Guest live events

You'll have the opportunity to put your questions to your coach. There will also be guest workshops on other important areas such as bike maintenance, mindset and bikepacking

This is a virtual coaching program, with the participants being from anywhere in the UK, or even the world! You will be training in your own time on your own, or with whoever you like to ride with. In the virtual live workouts you will be able to work at your own level and pace.
