Have you seen the new website yet? I've introduced a few new products and formats. Covid 19 forced a lot of business to rethink how they provide their services, and Veloqi was no different. The Redbridge Cycling Centre temporarily shut it's doors and the Velofit classes had to be suspended. How else could I keep cyclists fit and healthy through this time? I had to follow what many in the fitness industry were doing and go to online classes. Now, those that know me, know I am just a little camera shy, and I tried many other ways to get you active, but they didn't even keep me motivated! It's the social interactivity that we love about cycling, and that's what I had to tap into for the conditioning classes. I could avoid it no longer!!
So, the weekly online live classes started, using Zoom, and it was so much fun!! They made me completely rethink my business format. Just launched are the POWER UP LIVE courses. These are blocks of four to six weeks of online live classes, focusing on different factors through the year. Autumn is the perfect time to start a conditioning programme, for beginners to try off the bike training for the first time, for those that have recovered from injury during the year, or those that have taken a break post season and want to prepare for strength training over winter. I'm also really happy to announce a collaboration with fun and experienced fitness professional, prolific blogger and founder of Keep it SimpElle, Elle Linton. As part of the package you will also be able to access her famous Rollin with my Foamies sessions twice a week, and the 30 minute Kettlebells class. I feel these sessions round out a week of options perfectly! The full weekly schedule provides lots of options, with classes every day, some requiring no equipment at all, with progression built into the conditioning programme.
The next course runs from the 19th October to the 22nd November. Places are limited to keep classes low, allowing me to provide individualised coaching for each participant, so book your place now!
Also, soon to be launched, is the POWER UP monthly subscription service giving you access to a growing library of strength and conditioning workout videos, presented by myself and guest instructors, as well as all important foam rolling sessions, presented by Elle. This subscription will give you access to exclusive content, including live Q & As, training and nutritional advice, as well as the VELOFIT plans for you to work through in your own time, repeat as many times as you need, with videos of most workouts to train alongside. Of course, every member will have access to the supportive Veloqi Cycling Club Facebook Group, where you can ask me questions at any time, and share your achievements!
